Mojo Monday and Colour Q all rolled into one!

I decided to get straight back into it after the break with a couple of challenges.  So this card combines the MoJo Monday Sketch and the Colour Q Challenge.

I had to do the square sketch, although I loved the circle one so much that I have bought the scalloped circle nestabilities and they should be on their way to me from the states!  I'm not really sure about this card though, it seems to be missing something...

The butterfly on the card by the way was made for me by my friend Lorraine, when we were playing around with her new cuttlebug set.  Had to use it straight away Lorraine or I was bound to lose it, either that or Jade would steal it from me!

Here are the challenges:

And here is something else I made just before Christmas. It's a Kaisercraft wooden mini album.  I absolutely love Fancy Pants papers and so I've covered it with those to make it bright and cheerful.  To my Aussie friends, these are all on sale at LSBS.  Really cheap!

Thanks for looking :).

Been away, but now I'm back!

My daughter and I just got home after a month long trip to the UK.  We had a great time, and lots of fun in the snow with lots of snowmen built and snowballs thrown!

I didn't really do alot of crafting! But I did do heaps of sewing right before Christmas, lots of Christmas pressies, that I didn't have time to put on here. So over the next few days I'll put up some of those bits and pieces.

So, first up are two t-shirts I appliqued for my niece, Abi.  Variations of these will be available in my Etsy Shop towards the end of February (if you are interested just drop me an e-mail).

Thanks for looking. :)

I'm back!!

I have just got back from a trip to the UK to visit with family.  My daughter and I went and had a great time.  Lots of fun in the snow! Bit of a change from 43 degree celcius heat we are used to here!

Anyhow I haven't really been crafting whilst we were away but I do have two cards to share today.  The first one I made for my Mother-in-law's birthday, just before we left.  She loves butterflies, this one was handcut as I didn't have my Big Shot and butterfly die at that point!

Here is a close up to show the dimension.

And then here is today's effort.  This one was brought about by my new Big Shot machine and this cute butterfly die! I LOVE my new machine and can't wait to start using it ALL the time!!!

Thanks for looking. Hope you are having a great day.  Now the schools are going back (here in Australia) on Monday I hope to start some more crafting again and maybe even get my Etsy shop off the ground!
