Halloween and a birthday card

Hi All

[If you are looking for the Made It Friday Focus post, then just scroll down, it is the next post]
Just a quick post this morning as I should be out the door on the school run!!

I went to a friend's place last night and completed three card projects and prepped two sewing projects which for those of you who know me well will find unbelievable as I am normally REALLY slow!!

The first one is for Unity's Friends with Flair, think I'm too late for that! (I used the layout and turned it upside down! Also putting it in for All sorts (spots and stripes) and Crafty Chicks (punches).

This next card uses my Mystical Meg Digi and one of my sentiments, available here.  I used the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 you and inspiration for colours from Cupcake Inspirations, Also entering it for these challenges asked for Halloween themes: Corrosive Challenge, Crafty Creations.

And last but not least! A sweet treat topper.  Again I used Meg but just her legs!!  And one of my sentiments too.  I had originally planned to  put sweets inside the bag but them changed my mind and put quiz sheets in instead.  Incidentally if you are interested in the quiz sheets they are from the DLTK website which is a fabulous resource for all parents with little kids!

This one is for:

Have a wonderful day, I'll be sewing a Halloween costume for my daughter and working on a Made It Order.

Made it Friday Focus: Spiderman

I know... I'm gettting to be quite consistent now with the Made It Friday Focuses!!  So today I am focusing on Spiderman.

Here is my Spiderman Personalised T-shirt:

I even made a matching card!

A little search on Made It found these wonderful Spiderman items!

Wooden Spiderman Toy - Twinkle Kids
Hat - Seamstress & the Daughters
Pyjama bag & Cushion - Giddyup Design
Spiderman Wand - The Die Cut Store
Cupcake Toppers - Sweetly Obsessed

Made It: Halloween Focus

My Made It Focus pages are like buses: none for ages and then two come at once!  I figured I couldn't really call this one Friday Focus as it's almost Saturday and I did a Friday Focus already!  But I did want to show you this fun creation! Introducing the 'Boo!' Bat!  I decided to make this little guy for the Twilight market.
He is still available for purchase and is in the Made It shop.  If you are in Australia, and buy him before Wednesday morning, I can pop him in an Express envelope to ensure he reaches you in time for Halloween!  He's been pre-washed for you so he looks a little more frayed around the edges now.

He inspired me to see what else was on Made it along these lines and I found these fab things!

I have to say I don't really 'do' the whole Halloween thing, but I have loved seeing all the cute witchy things and bats out there in Blogland lately! Difficult not to jump on the bandwagon!

Made it Friday Focus: Guitars

Good Morning! Yay I made a Friday Focus happen on a Friday!  Today I'm introducing two new products to my Made it shop. A boy and girl version of the same t-shirt: Girl's Rock; &; Dudes Rock!  Both featuring a wonderful silver guitar!

And to complement these I found some really cute items on Made it this week! You'll see Michael Millar's Groovy Guitar fabric making an appearance a few times.  Isn't that just the grooviest fabric!?

Cube:  Bubbamia Kids
Birthday Invite: Tambo Creations
Pick Necklace: Love Stamp
Face Washers: Indigo Elephant
Rockstar Canvas: Art with Allie

Love this Friday Focus, all those things look so yummy together!! Head on over to these stores they have some wonderful items in their stores and I know they'd love to welcome you in!

Remember if you are in Karratha, I'll be at the Twilight Craft Market at the Tambrey Primary School this evening selling my bits and pieces and taking orders for Christmas! The market starts at 5pm and will finish up at about 8pm.  Would be great to see you there.

Friday Focus on ... ahem ... Tuesday!

It seemed like a good idea at the time, and I'm sure I will get the hang of posting every Friday.  But just so I don't miss a whole week! Here is Friday Focus on Tuesday!  For those of you who don't know what Made It is, it's an online marketplace, similar to Etsy in the U.S., but to sell on it you must be based in Australia and the items must be handmade within Australia.

Today I'm featuring my Butterfly t-shirt. And introducing a new butterfly product: The Butterfly headbands!

Here are the new headbands.  Sorry for the poor photo - my model was at dance class!!! The headbands will be on sale with others this Friday at the market at Tambrey Primary school in Karratha for locals and may be put in the Made it store next week. On the subject of markets, I will be at three markets in Karratha over the coming weeks details will be added to the sidebar soon.

And now for the wonderful things I found on Made it, that co-ordinate so well with the the Butterfly theme of today! I know I was planning on doing six but I found more fun stuff this time!
Pink Butterfly pendant: Jancari Designs
Butterfly Bunting: Jazzy Kidz
Hair Clip Miss Bluebell Hair Accessories
Eye Mask: Odds'n'Blobs
Mobile: Rubys House
Rainbow pendant: Iszle
Picture: Love Paper Scissors
Hat: Big Bug and Little Bug
Bag: Miyuki

Have a wonderful day.  I'm so busy preparing for the markets making lots of fun stuff but no time to photograph it!

New Digital Images in the Shop

Wow today is a big day for me!  I have decided to release some of my drawings as digital images.  I will be listing them for sale in my Etsy Shop and you can also purchase them directly through this blog: I've added a page at the top that will have them all on.  You may have noticed that Ruby (my first little lady) has made her way into the shop this week.  She was a freebie on the site a couple of months ago - well done to those who snagged her up as a freebie - for those who missed out she is now in the shop!

Today I am introducing Ruby's witchy friend: Mystical Meg!  To see more pictures on this card just go here.

She has some sentiments and quotes to go along with her that can be purchased simply as quote packs or sentiment packs or as a bundle with Meg.

Leigh Ann Baird from Paper Chase is helping me introduce Meg to you today.  I've been a follower of her blog for a while and she does some awesome work.

And here is her fantastic creation: a door hanger to put goodies in!  Pop along to her blog to see more pictures and be inspired.

Now, no new release would be complete without a freebie to go along with it and today I have two for you!!! A cute little spider and Halloween Sentiment. I used the spider on my card on the acetate.  You can download them here: sentiment link and spider link.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day whatever you do with it!

Mystical Meg

I've made today's card using the sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You, i used the rectangle window instead of the circle.  It's also for the Wee Memories challenge and the Stampin Royalty challenge both which were to make a Halloween card. And also for the Just Us Girls challenge to use Acetate.

I've used my new Digital image of Mystical Meg that I am releasing today and you can read all about that here.  She, along with digital sentiments will be available for sale on this blog (see the new tab at the top of the blog) and also in my Etsy Shop.

I've also got some freebies up for grabs in that post too.

Well here she is.

I made the sentiment into a street sign, at least that's what street signs look like in England!

The inside.

A close up of the dimension on the hat and cauldron.
 And one more for luck!
Have a great day whatever you do.

Made it: Friday Focus

I know, it's Saturday but what the heck here we go! This is the first of a regular 'Friday' feature that I will have on the blog.  I intend to select one of my products that is currently for sale on Made it (& Etsy).   I will then select six items from other sellers on Made It that complement my item in some way.  I'll pick items to promote that I think are wonderful in their creation and that have great photography.

So here we go with the first 'Friday Focus'.  Today we are focusing on my Rainbow T-shirt, not only because I love rainbows, but also because it's my best seller!

Bracelet: The Black Sheep
Aroma Play dough: AromaPlay
Rainbow TuTu: Little Fish Creations
Pencil Roll: Fayezt
Bunting: Little Fish Creations

I know for a fact these little handmade shops would love it if you would check them out!

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch

I used Mercy's sketch over at Lord have Mercy.  I turned it 90 degrees and changed it up a bit to suit but I think you can still see the basic sketch in there!!

It's for a little girls birthday that we missed when we were on holiday! Ooops!

The image was a freebie from here.  Anne has heaps of fabulous freebies on her site, be sure to check them all out.  Thanks Anne.

Little Owl stack Gift card holder

I made this before I went on holiday but had no time to upload it, which was a shame as I had made it for the Cards Blog Pockets challenge.  My friend Bianca showed me how to put these little cards together.  Thanks Bianca ;-)

It was to go with the Owl on a Unicycle card I made a few weeks ago.

Have a great day.

Back from holidays

Got back  at the weekend from a camping trip to Broome and Cape Leveque, 2600km round trip, some on very bumpy tracks!  Straight back into housework as I have a house inspection tomorrow (Growl!).  Anyhow I just made this as I was inspired to use a broken piece of my daughter's dress up jewellery for the Southern Girls Challenge.  Then I realised the deadline is soon! So here is the broken bracelet.

And here is the card.

It also for these challenges:
Have a lovely day!
