When I saw this Ethan Lollipop stamp by Lori Boyd at Stamping Bella I immediately thought of a little girl I know who is a bit of a tomboy and loves her skateboard. Hmmm I thought I wonder....So today I have given little Ethan a transformation with a marker! I hope he doesn't mind! I also gave her a smile and some little cheeks! Hope that's OK Lori!?
I made this card using the Just Us Girls Sketch and the There She Goes challenge. The challenge from TSG was to use three colours (OK so I hope it's ok to have added black and white!), two different types of patterned paper, a button and one ribbon. Oh and no other embellishments. It was quite tricky to work with those strict guidelines. I couldn't decide where to put the button and then thought I'd pop it over the top of the balloon! The balloon stamp, sentiment and banner are all from There She Goes.
I also decorated the inside of the card.
Oh wow great idea to change up Ethan - I was very much a bit of Emma growing up - probably because I had two brothers. LOL Thanks for playing along with Just Us Girls - we appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card! Emma reminds me of my 20 year old tomboy :) thanks for playing along with this weeks sketch challenge with Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea to use what you have an alter it! I think she looks fabulous, and although I don't have any girls, I think that some tomboy is sure to appreciate this card. Fun colors too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the tomboy you created! Great card! The inside details are FAB, too!
