Happy Go Lucky Quilt

I made this quilt a couple of weeks ago using fabrics from different ranges but most from a range called Happy Go Lucky I think, hence the title.  The colours look really cheerful together and I think although I made it with a boy's baby quilt in mind, it's not really gender specific.

After much deliberation I decided to do free motion loopy quilting.  I was going to do wonky straight lines.

I almost like the back more than the front.

New Collection is Taking Shape

Have been super busy this week preparing for a local Artisan market I managed to get a spot at tomorrow.  It's the Tweseldown Artisan Market near Fleet, Hampshire.  It's a really wonderful market that takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month.  And luckily for me someone cancelled! So I got their spot this month.  I had really wanted my new collection to be totally ready but time has not allowed that to happen.  But I thought I would share some of the lovely things that are ready and will be coming with me to market tomorrow.

A kindle case.

A group shot of new items.

A make up bag, now lined with waterproof lining! Teal in colour of course!

Another Make up bag!

Another Kindle case.

And another make up bag.

And a phone case!

And finally I made 4 of these, 2 with Matilda fabric and 2 with Charlie Fabric.  Complete with pocket for book and book!

Been Busy Making Bags

I've been busy making bags, trying to decide on a style for a class I've been asked to do entitled 'Easy Shopping Bag'!  Well I have ruled some out for not being easy enough.  Here they are anyway!

The one above is definitely my favourite but would take too long for the scheduled class.   So think I will go with the one below.

This is along the same lines.

Not really sure about this one.  Would take too long but was quite fun to make.

Cute Little Price Tag Holders for Market

I saw on Pinterest a while ago someone had used some vintage spools to make place cards.  I thought it was a cute idea that would translate well to using as price tag holders for my market stall.  I managed to find some that weren't massively overpriced and today set about making them all pretty!

I added some fabric, lace and ribbons in my logo colours.  Curled a bit of thick wire around and attached it to the centre using a glue gun.

Don't they look sweet!? Could also be used as photo holders!
