My lovely friend Martine bought me a set of Cuttlebug embossing 'strips' a while back and I hadn't used them properly until yesterday when I was inspired to use them on envelopes. They gave a great look to a plain envelope! Then I needed to make some cards today and was thinking up how I could use them but keep them as the focal point of the card. Here's what I came up with. Apologies for the terrible pictures I will change the pictures tomorrow if I get a chance when I can photograph them in daylight. Hopefully you can see well enough for now.
I made a few of these with different sentiments and ribbons. They were remarkably simple but are quite effective really.
I'm putting this in for several challenges today:
Etsy Inpired - the shop is Sand Box Studio and I was inspired by the turquoise and chocolate spotty cup on one of the bags in this post.
The Corrosive Challenge Blog were asking for flowers
Crafty Ann's Challenge are looking for embossing
As are Allsorts challenge blog
And so are Caardvarks
