Little Red Baby Quilt all Finished up!

Yay it's all finished! I just totally LOVE this quilt. If it was bigger I'd so want to keep it just for me! All my favourite colours.  In fact it fits right in to my kitchen!

This is the little Red Riding Hood Fabric line from Tasha Noel.

I ummed and ahhed over how to quilt this.  I was going to go for straight lines in the middle square and loops on the grey border.  But some of the squares don't line up perfectly (which really annoys me!!) so I decided to opt for loops all over.

I did attempt to quilt the little girl's name onto two of the squares.  Quite pleased with that, think it's a cute addition.

I quilted in a really pale grey colour.  And used the red and white polka dot for the binding.  Love the contrast between that and the grey.

My free motion quilting is definitely improving.  I even added in one random loopy flower and a little love heart for them to find!

I really like the back, almost more than the front! The little mushrooms are so sweet and the panel is just too cute!

Now I just need to make a dolls quilt for the baby's big sister with the scraps!
